Explorer Sweeper

Explorer Sweeper is a Minesweeper-inspired game set inside a fake file system. Instead of clearing a grid, you explore folders in a directory tree. Some are safe. Some hide mines. Your job is to figure out which is which using logic, deduction, and a few helpful tools.

What makes it different

• Minesweeper, but in a folder tree You move through parent/child folders instead of a flat grid.
• Boards are designed to be solvable You shouldn’t need to guess. The game uses constraint logic so puzzles can be solved through deduction.
• Safe first click Mines are placed only after your first reveal, so you never lose immediately.
• Scanners (power-ups) Scanners let you safely check a single folder without triggering a reveal cascade.
• Streak rewards Every 8 safe reveals in a row gives you a bonus scanner.
• 7-chapter campaign A progression mode with story elements and chapter modifiers like ReadOnly, Shuffle, AdminLock, and MovingMines.
• 4 difficulty settings From Beginner (12% mines) to Nightmare (28% mines).
• Daily challenges A new seeded board each day.
• 14 achievements Rank up from Intern to Root.
• Theme options Includes Dark, Light, Retro, and High Contrast modes.
• Full mouse support Click to reveal, right-click to flag, scroll to navigate.

Terminal requirements

For the best experience, use a terminal with solid Unicode and emoji support (for example: Warp or WezTerm).

If your terminal doesn’t handle emoji well, there’s an ASCII-only mode in Settings.
