Upcoming in 0.4.3: Batch Hiring & UI Persistence & Bugfixes
Terminal Colony: Deep Core » Devlog
- Batch Hiring: Hire multiple workers at once with +1, +5, +10, or +25 batch buttons
- Quick Templates: Apply pre-configured worker distributions with one click:
- Early Game: 5 Diggers, 3 Hackers, 2 Builders
- Mid Game: 3 Diggers, 2 Hackers, 1 Builder, 2 Engineers, 2 Researchers
- Late Game: 2 Diggers, 3 Researchers, 2 QuantumTech, 2 Explorers, 1 DarkMiner
- Accurate Costs: Batch hire buttons show exact total cost with exponential scaling (1.15x per worker)
- Smart Validation: Templates check for available workers before applying
- Feedback: Audio and notification feedback for all batch operations
- Better Visibility: Workers tab scroll area increased to show 3-4 jobs without scrolling
- Time Saved: Save 5-10 minutes per play session in late game with efficient workforce management
- Window State Persistence: Window fold/unfold (collapsed/expanded) state now saved and restored across sessions
- Complete UI State: All window positions, sizes, open/closed state, and collapsed state persist in save file
- Safer Reset: Reset Game button moved to Settings > Gameplay > "DANGER ZONE" to prevent accidental resets
- UI Fix: Fixed bug where Prestige, Boss Status, and Random Events windows weren't showing up
- Cost Display Fix: Numbers in 1K-999K range now use comma separators (e.g., "2,154") instead of "K" notation (e.g., "2.1K") to prevent confusion where abbreviated costs could be misread as exact values
